Recall On Save-A-Lot Chicken Waffle Sandwiches

Save-A-Lot has recalled their Pick 5 Chicken Waffle Sandwiches due to Listeria concerns.

According to ABC 6, the sandwiches were sold frozen and distributed nationwide.

“Listeria can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weak immune systems.”

Healthy individuals may also suffer from symptoms, such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea.

No illnesses have been reported so far.

Consumers who have purchased this product should not consume them and should call 724-483-2056 for a refund or replacement.
