According to multiple twitter accounts, a banner stating that "Racism Is As American As Baseball"  banner was dropped over the Green Monster at Fenway Park tonight.  It is not clear if the three people holding the banner were in favor of racism, or against it.  The banner reportedly hung for "several minutes" before being removed by security.  This has not been the only racism themed incident at Fenway Park this season.  Baltimore Oriole Adam Jones told the media that he was called the n-word by fans a handful of times during a game and that a bag of peanuts was hurled at him. Red Sox ownership is petitioning to change the name of Yawkey Way to Big Papi Way because former Red Sox owner Tom Yawkey is said to have racist views.
