Providence Announces WaterFire Schedule for 2025
The flames are back in Providence for the season. WaterFire Providence returns with a a full lighting on Saturday, May 31.
This unique experience invigorates your senses as you hear the crackling fires, feel the warmth of the flames, smell the burning of the wood in the basins and witness the beauty that is WaterFire.
If you've never been to the Providence event, I highly recommend adding it to your summer list. This art installation has been wowing millions of spectators for decades.
WaterFire Celebrating a Milestone Year
“As we celebrate 30 years of WaterFire, we are grateful to the sponsors, community partners, and supporters who have helped sustain this tradition in Providence," said Ed Cabral, Director of Sponsorships and Corporate Relations at WaterFire Providence.
"The 2025 season honors that legacy while looking ahead with renewed purpose and excitement for what’s to come," he said.
The first lighting, a full lighting, will take place on Saturday, May 31 supported by the Rhode Island School of Design. A fitting choice, as RISD will be welcoming in thousands of guests for its 2025 commencement that weekend.
