Providence Friars fans are saying goodbye to Coach Ed Cooley, and that means his Rhode Island home is for sale.

The coach announced his departure from the team for Georgetown this week, listing his 55 Lenihan Lane home in East Greenwich for $1.9 million.

Friday night saw the Friars lose to No. 6 Kentucky in the NCAA Tournament, and after the loss, Cooley was bombarded with questions about where he would coach next season.

Now we have an answer. We also know Cooley has decided to put his home on the market.

The Lenihan Lane house with four bedrooms and six bathrooms went on sale Monday for $1.9 million.

It's a great big brick house with a pool, hot tub, sports memorabilia room and a truly gorgeous primary bath. Plus, the new owner would get to say they lived in the same house as a former Coach of the Year winner.

Not too shabby.
