New Providence Event Will Bring Foodies to Town This Weekend
'March Madness' seems to be the perfect phrase to describe this past month in Providence, Rhode Island.
From this past weekend's NCAA Tournament games to the first ever Lil' Rhody Laugh Riot comedy festival starting on March 27, big things have been happening in entertainment in Rhode Island's capitol city.
Now foodies are coming to town as well, with the first ever Food & Wine Experience from the Providence Culinary Collective.

Recently the highly anticipated Track 15 Food Hall officially opened at Union Station in downtown Providence. Everything from Italian to Indian can be found inside and Rhode Island foodies were thrilled by the news.

But it's not the only thing local food lovers can be thrilled about this month in the Ocean State.
That's because a first-ever Providence Culinary Collective event will be bringing signature tastings, demos and unique food events to various city-wide locations starting this weekend.
They'll also pair the entire thing with an inaugural Rhode Island Wine Experience to bring food and drink together in a whole new way.

The event seems to offer options for all sorts of foodies, too. There's everything from food truck festivities to small bite samplings, cooking classes at Johnson & Wales University and paired meals from acclaimed chefs and sommeliers.
Plus celebrity chef appearances are scheduled, including a meet and greet with Mary Ann Esposito, chef and host of PBS' Ciao Italia with Mary Ann Esposito.
With the comedy and food festivals colliding in Providence this weekend, knows what celebrities might also be in town to eat and laugh.
