Providence is spicing up bingo night next month with what is being called "Bingo Loco," and let's just say this isn't your grandparents' bingo night.

Having been to a few bingo games with my grandparents myself, I can tell you it can get pretty wild. Maybe that's just my grandparents' competitive side showing, but all I know is I definitely got the competitive bingo player gene from my grandmother.

Bingo Loco Coming to Providence

So when is this epic bingo night happening? Bingo Loco is happening on Saturday, June 7 and this is for the adults, 21 and over only. It's taking place at The Strand Ballroom and Theatre

General admission tickets start at $33, but you can get a VIP section for you and five of your friends (or your grandparents) for $665 and a $500 bottle spend. For those of you that don't know what "bottle spend" is, it's basically $500 towards getting bottles of champagne or liquor for the table to share. Does you Grandma's bingo night offer bottle service?

The Strand Ballroom and Theatre has a state-of-the-art sound system, so it will of course put it to good use with a DJ playing music. That might get you distracted from getting a bingo, although I think that might be the point.

VIP tickets are still available, and there will also be an early show for those that need to get to bed before 9 p.m., and then a late show for those night owls.

There are tickets still available for both available from The Strand website.
