Prospective Jurors Voice Sympathy For Tsarnaev

Two prospective jurors in the trial of Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev have expressed sympathy for him.

The people questioned Friday provided a contrast to many other potential jurors who have expressed anger over the 2013 attack and sorrow for the three people killed and the more than 260 injured.

One man said he can understand how Tsarnaev may have been influenced by his older brother. Tsarneav's lawyers have made it clear they plan to argue that Tamerlan Tsarnaev may have led Dzhokhar into participating in the bombings.

Another prospective juror said she doesn't think she could consider the death penalty for Tsarnaev. She also said she feels sad that he would not have a chance for parole if he is sentenced to life in prison instead.
