Police Investigate Swansea Murder

The Bristol County District Attorney's Office is investigating an apparent homocide in Swansea. A spokesman for the District Attorney says a Swansea woman was found dead in her home early Saturday. She's identified as 51-year old Lisa Mello of Ocean Grove Avenue. Swansea Police said they received a 9-1-1 call around 5am about a "deceased woman inside her home" on Ocean Grove Avenue. No further details were available, Swansea and State Police from the District Attorney's Office continue to investigate.
