Fairhaven Police are looking for a suspect in a late afternoon bank robbery.

Sgt. Kevin Kobza says a man entered the Santander Bank branch at 125 Huttleston Avenue just after 4:30pm Wednesday and handed the teller a note demanding money. The note also said the robber had a gun.

The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of cash, and the suspect left the bank without showing a weapon. A witness told Police the robber fled the area in a vehicle.

The suspect is described as an unshaven white male in his 20's with brown hair. He was wearing a Red Sox cap and large sunglasses.
