Police Arrest Two on Drug Violations

New Bedford Police arrest two men on drug charges.

Forty-two-year-old Mathew Vieira of Fairhaven and 31-year-old Barrett Stone of New Bedford were arrested Monday during an operation at 261 Tinkham Street.

Vieira faces charges of possession of a Class A drug and conspiracy to violate drug laws. Stone was also charged with possession of a Class A drug and conspiracy.

Police say he also has three outstanding warrants.
