Pawtucket Seeks Snow Shovel Volunteers

It's an idea that many local communities should consider. Pawtucket, Rhode Island Mayor Don Grebien is looking for more volunteers to shovel snow for the elderly. The Pawtucket Times reports that the service is provided free-of-charge to senior citizens. The youth to senior assistance program was started three years ago, but the mayor says the snowier than usual winter this year has increased the need for volunteers.
