Pawtucket Man Killed in Seekonk Crash
SEEKONK — A Pawtucket man who died in a one vehicle crash in Seekonk last night has been identified as 36-year-old Richard Carlson of Pawtucket.
The Bristol County District Attorney's office stated that no one else was injured or involved in the crash, which took place just before 8 p.m. Monday.
Carlson was driving a Ford Explorer apparently at high speed when he lost control travelling north on Arcade Avenue near Scott Road, the D.A.'s office said.
His vehicle drove over several lawns, striking a large boulder and a tree.
The engine caught fire after the crash, but was quickly extinguished by first responders.
