According to an updated NESN.com report, the New England Patriots are set to hold joint practices with the New Orleans Saints prior to the teams' preseason game on August 11.

The Patriots, who have become fond of joint practices over the past few years, are already scheduled to workout with the Chicago Bears before their preseason match up later this summer.

According to Doug Keyed, the Pats will host practices with the Saints on August 9 and 10. The practices are also scheduled to be free and open to the public.

The two teams have held joint practices in the past, as Pats head coach Bill Belichick and Saints head coach Sean Payton are friends.
