The newest additions to the Buttonwood Park Zoo will be officially revealed to the public Tuesday.

The zoo recently announced the birth of two North American River Otter pups, born to first time mother, three-year-old Dani on March 19.

The pups will be presented to the public at a 10am debut at the zoo. The otters are both girls, and their names, which will also be announced, were chosen by members at a special event Monday night.

The birth of the otter pups is a result of a breeding recommendation of the Association of Zoo and Aquariums North American River Otter Species Survival Plan.
