Oregon Mall Shooter Identified

Police in Oregon say the gunman in yesterday's shooting at a Portland-area mall was 22-year-old Jacob Tyler Roberts. During a press conference today, Clackamas County Sheriff Craig Roberts said an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle was recovered from the scene of the shooting at Clackamas Town Center mall. It's believed Roberts killed two people and wounded another person before taking his own life. One of those killed was a 54-year-old woman from Portland and the second victim was a 45-year-old father from a Portland suburb.

The third person shot is a young woman who is hospitalized with serious injuries but is expected to survive. Sheriff Roberts said investigators believe the shooter acted alone and had no relationship to his victims. There is no motive yet in the shooting. (MetroSource News)
