OPINION | Barry Richard: Those Democrats and Their Name Calling

The Democrats have attacked just about everybody possible in their quest to become relevant again and now the focus seems to be on us "weight challenged" individuals.

The Hollywood crowd is having a ball knocking White House spokesperson Sarah Huckabee Sanders over her appearance. From Chelsea Handler to Cher, the "cool kids" like to knock Sander's clothing, hair and weight. Not very nice at all.

So, now it's John Kerry's turn and the target of his childish taunting is none other than President Donald J.Trump.

Attending some kind of event in D.C. over the weekend, Kerry suggested he doesn't believe Trump weighs 239 pounds and should prove it by showing his "long-form girth certificate."

That, of course, is a reference to Trump questioning the birthplace of former President Barrack Obama several years ago. Get it?  Birth certificate. Girth certificate. Real cutup that Kerry. Too bad a writer had to pen that little zinger for him.

Name calling is nothing new to the left. Afterall, anyone who disagrees with them is either racist, sexist, xenophobic, bigoted, intolerant, or just plain deplorable. Meanwhile, they've got a U.S. Senator from Massachusetts running around pretending to be an Indian and everyone thinks that's normal.

But, "Bubble Boy" ought to leave "Trumpkin" alone. He's got enough to do trying to keep "Pocahontas," "Dicky Durbin," "Sneaky Diane Feinstein, "Jeff Flakey, and "Little Marco Rubio" in line while he tries to deal with "Rocket Man" over in North Korea.  "Crazy Jim Acosta" is giving him a hard time and "Sloppy Steve Bannon" is piling on as well.

Kind of makes you glad that "Crooked Hillary" didn't win, huh?
