RINO Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker has picked another needless fight with the White House.

Governor Baker, for some bizarre reason couldn't resist attacking President Donald Trump yesterday when asked to weigh-in on the Gold Star Family controversy. Baker has no connection to the matter and has no first hand knowledge of what transpired, but somehow found the moral authority to rip Trump anyway.

Congresswoman Fredericka Wilson (D-Florida) stirred the attack media by claiming Trump disrespected the family of Sgt. La David Johnson, one of four troops killed in an ambush in Niger this month, during a personal phone call to Johnson's widow this week. A call that Wilson, who now bills herself as a "rock star" because of all of the media attention she has received, was somehow listening in on.

Trump has denied the exchange was disrespectful and has accused Wilson of manufacturing details in order to generate a controversy and attention for herself. White House Chief of Staff General John Kelly, himself a Gold Star parent lambasted Wilson for politicizing the matter and defended Trump's version of events. General Kelly was one of several witnesses in the room when the call was placed by Trump.

Asked about the controversy while appearing yesterday on WGBH public radio Baker, who continues to put his own dislike for Trump ahead of the state's best interests went on the attack;

"I think the exchange that he had with this family and the follow-up was incredibly disgraceful and discouraging and depressing."

How does Baker know what was said in that "private" conversation or if the President's remarks were in anyway taken out of context?  Was he listening in too?

Governor Baker sounds more and more like Democrat Senators Elizabeth Warren and Ed Markey in his constant attacks on the Trump Administration. Mix in our Trump obsessed Democrat Attorney General Maura Healey and the Trump folks have no reason to do any favors for Massachusetts.

What is tragic here is that Baker had no reason to wade into this debate. He has no first hand knowledge of what actually occurred and should have just shut his mouth.

Anyone who witnessed General Kelly's remarks to the press yesterday saw him destroy the credibility of people like Congresswoman Wilson and Governor Baker, two petty and pathetic individuals. If you have not heard General Kelly's words I suggest you Google them.
