The Butler Flats Lighthouse has its first bidder. An anonymous bidder posted the $25,000 opening bid last week.

Weather-watcher and lighthouse enthausit M.L. Baron appeared on WBSM's "Mid-Day Live" and says bidders will be able to inspect the lighthouse.

Baron says he has been talking with GSA Pubilc Affairs Officer Patrick Sclafani, who says there could be as many as six bidders interested in owning the Butler Flats Lighthouse.

Baron adds it usually takes several weeks for interest to mount in such auctions.

The last day of the auction has yet to be determined.
