The New Bedford Bay Sox are still looking for their first win of the season, after dropping their home opener Saturday night, 4-2 to the Ocean State Waves at Paul Walswh Field.

The Bay Sox scored two unearned runs in the bottom of the first, but their offense was held in check the rest of the way, while Ocean State scored two runs apiece in the second and sixth innings.  New Bedford had just four hits in the game.

A crowd of about 600 fans turned out for the home opener. The Bay Sox are off until Tuesday when they travel to Mystic, Connecticut.
