A Northeastern University professor will conduct a study on Padanaram Village in Dartmouth.

Town Administrator David Cressman announced last night a team from the University will produce a full engineering analysis on improving traffic, parking, and pedestrian needs in the village.

Select board member John George was excited about the decision, saying the project could mean big things for Padanaram...

Select board chairman Michael Watson says the professor in charge, Daniel Delusky, recently completed a similar project in Nantucket and is excited to have an opportunity in Dartmouth.

The University hopes to have the study completed by the end of April, when they will present their findings to the public.
