It all began on February 17, 1993, when Kent Taylor opened the first Texas Roadhouse in Clarksville, Indiana.  Kent’s goal was to own not just a family restaurant and not just a good steak house, but a place where everyone, of all ages, could come and have a great meal and great fun for a great price.

The Texas Roadhouse folks like to brag about their Hand-Cut Steaks, Fall-Off-The-Bone Ribs, Made-From-Scratch Sides, and Fresh-Baked Bread. The newest location will be at the Shops at Five Plaza, that's been renamed The Grove at Plymouth, in historic Plymouth, MA.

The location, where a building that used to house a Bugaboo Creek restaurant before becoming the Sky Buffet, will be razed and a new Texas Roadhouse will be constructed on its site. The new Texas Roadhouse will seat about 281 diners, including 15 seats at the bar.
