New Flesh Rotting Street Drug Emerges in USA

American junkies are being introduced to "Krokodil," a homemade opiate that destroys the user's tissue, turns the skin a 'crocodile green' and causes the flesh to fall off.

The powerful heroin-like drug originated in Russia because heroin can be difficult to obtain and is expensive there. Two cases have been confirmed in Arizona. This caustic drug is made with codeine-based pills mixed with iodine, gasoline, paint thinner or alcohol.

When it's injected, the average life expectancy among "Krokodil" users is two to three years! It is quickly adopting the moniker of "the most horrible drug in the world." Gangrene and amputations are common and the deadly concoction actually dissolves teeth and jawbones, much like the drug that Walter White cooks in Breaking Bad.
