New Bedford Woman Found with Cocaine After South End Crash
NEW BEDFORD — A New Bedford woman is arrested on multiple charges following a crash in the South End.
New Bedford Police responded to a report of an accident in the area of 71 Valentine Street at around 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday and found the female driver walking away from the scene. The woman and two passengers were transported to Rhode Island Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
After further investigation, the driver, Alyssa Jackson, 22, of 8 Phillips Avenue, Apt. 3, New Bedford, was arrested and charged with driving with a license suspended for operating under the influence, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, leaving the scene of a personal injury accident, two warrants, and possession of crack cocaine.
