New Bedford Trespassing Report Leads to Drug Arrest

NEW BEDFORD — Early Wednesday morning, police were called to Riverbank Lofts, 200 Riverside Avenue, on a report of a person trespassing.

When officers located the suspect, Christopher Brosseau, 32, of Acushnet, they report finding him to be in possession of crack cocaine and a knife larger than allowed by city of New Bedford ordinances.

Brosseau faces charges of possession of crack cocaine, carrying a weapon and trespassing.  The arrest happened 12:57 a.m. on Wednesday.
