NEW BEDFORD — On Wednesday morning before 10 a.m., New Bedford Police were called to a home on Bedford Street in response to a call of a man banging on a neighbor's door.

When officers arrived at the scene, they recognized that the man had an active warrant. Rolando Ibarra, 37, of Bedford Street, was arrested at that time.

During the booking process, police report finding crack cocaine and heroin in his possession.

Ibarra is charged with possession of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to distribute, possession of crack cocaine, possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute and on a warrant.
