NEW BEDFORD - A New Bedford man is arrested following accusations that he threatened someone with a gun.

New Bedford Police Spokesman Lt. Nathaniel Rodriguez tells WBSM News a man reported having an argument with Eduardo Teves, 32, of 35 Buttonwood Street, New Bedford at around 9 p.m. Monday night. The victim told police that at some point during the argument, Teves pulled out a gun and pointed it at him.

Investigating officers located Teves and placed him under arrest based on the circumstances. No firearm was located.

Teves is charged with assault with a dangerous weapon.
