You may think you're in an episode of The Twilight Zone if you're in downtown New Bedford Thursday night, but Rod Serling won't be making an appearance.

It's actually Joe Jesus' 23rd annual 50's Night, bringing classic cars and music to Union and Purchase Streets all night long.

Speaking on WBSM's "Mid-Day Magazine", Joe Jesus says the event is free to the public, but there is a small entrance fee for any participating classic cars.

Jesus estimates there will be as many as 400 cars lining the streets Thursday night, with plenty of live music and dancing. There will also be vendors selling popcorn and other treats.

Joe Jesus' 50's Night runs from 5-9pm.

WBSM's Taylor Cormier and Phil Paleologos will be broadcasting live from downtown on Purchase Street from 3-6pm leading into the event.
