New Bedford's dNB Craft Kitchen wants the public to know it's thriving and looking toward a bright future.

Despite swirling rumors, the restaurant is very much alive and kicking, eagerly anticipating a successful summer of serving what may be the best burgers in the city. It's been an impressive ascent for the business, which started in 2014 as dNB Burgers on Elm Street before relocating to Purchase Street. Known for its innovative takes on burgers and other comfort food, dNB Craft Kitchen has cemented its place as a local favorite.

Another change is on the horizon: The restaurant is for sale. The business, complete with a full liquor license, award-winning recipes, kitchen equipment, dining room furniture and a lease with the option to extend, is going for $499,000.

“It’s been an incredible journey building this brand into what it is today, and we are excited to pass the torch to someone who shares our passion for great food and hospitality,” owner Joshua Lemaire said.

Lemaire founded the restaurant with Amelia Ruvich, together cultivating a lively atmosphere and a loyal customer base.

Ruvich and Lemaire have been instrumental in the restaurant's success. Ruvich has showcased her interior design talents at dNB's locations and the former Union Flats, while Lemaire has pursued his musical passions with his band Don’t Grow Old.
