Braintree Man Sentenced for Trafficking Fentanyl in New Bedford
NEW BEDFORD (WBSM) — A Braintree man who was arrested in New Bedford in 2019 for trafficking nearly 500 grams of fentanyl has been sentenced to state prison.
Robinson Paradis-Feliz, 49, pleaded guilty to an indictment charging him with trafficking fentanyl.
On June 27, 2019, at approximately 5 p.m., New Bedford Police stopped Paradis-Feliz's vehicle and found a pink Victoria Secret's gift bag in the center console that was stapled closed. The bag contained 493 grams of fentanyl.

While this case was pending, Paradis-Feliz was arrested after having a large amount of drugs delivered through the U.S. Postal Service to his home in Norfolk County.
Due to the previous arrest, the U.S. Attorney's Office adopted the Norfolk case and resolved it for a sentence of six years and nine months in federal prison.
