My Rant on Car Shopping as a Woman
It is 2017. I am a 25 year old female in need of a car and with money to spend. I had done all the research to make sure I knew EXACTLY what I wanted to test drive, and potentially purchase. The dealer chose to speak to my dad as if he was the customer…As if I wasn’t present. As if I didn’t matter. This cautionary tale is a warning for car dealerships everywhere.
***To be fair, he did speak to me directly when I was in the driver seat and he was showing me the features of the car.
