The end of summer doesn't mean the opportunity for a vacation has passed.

Nearly 90% of the travel agencies participating in a new Travel Leaders Group poll say they've booked as many or more fall trips for customers this year than they did last year. And Orlando leads the list of destinations within the U.S., with 34% planning to visit the Florida city in the coming months. 33% will head for the desert and go to Las Vegas. More than 30% are also traveling to Maui and New York City. Honolulu rounds out the top 5.

A Caribbean cruise is the most popular international vacation this fall, while a European river cruise is also in the top five. Other top travel spots outside the U.S. include Cancun, London and Rome.
