Mitchell Announces Two More Casino Forums

Mayor Jon Mitchell is encouraging as many public meetings as possible concerning the waterfront casino project being proposed by KG Urban Enterprises.

Speaking on his weekly radio program Wednesday on WBSM, the Mayor said the city is organizing forums for June 4th at Roosevelt Middle School, and June 17th at Normandin Middle School.

Mitchell says "I've asked KG Urban, the developers, its their project after all, to be prepared to go into granular detail on the project so that everyone has an understanding of what they'll be voting for on June 23rd."

Another forum is planned for June 10th at the Zeiterion Performing Arts Center, organized by Leadership Southcoast.
