A Somerset restaurant is saying goodbye to its beloved patrons.

Known for its contemporary New England approach to classic American BBQ, Missing Link BBQ shared the heartbreaking news that the Texas-inspired eatery on Lees River Avenue will serve its last plate on Sunday, August 4, after two years in business.

Somerset's Missing Link Says Goodbye

“It is with great sadness that we have to announce this, but after much deliberation and discussion, we have decided to close Missing Link BBQ,” the restaurant said online. “Unfortunately, we have been met with lots of obstacles that have led us to where we are today, but we wouldn’t have gotten this far without all of you and your support.”

The crew members at Missing Link are sad to close the doors, but unfortunately, they believe there is no other choice.

“We hope to see you before we go, but if we don’t get the chance, we just want to say thank you again for the last two years,” the restaurant said. “We appreciate all of you.”

It’s never easy to say goodbye, but foodies from Somerset and beyond will always be grateful for the delicious, warm meals and good memories.

Here’s to you, Missing Link.
