To kick off the annual Summer Reading Programs at the Middleborough Public Library, patrons are encouraged to stop by the Middleborough Public Library on Saturday, June 18 from 9am to 3pm to enjoy a free round of mini-golf.  The last tee time is scheduled for 2:30pm.

According to South Coast Today.com, “the 18-hole mini-golf course will meander through the stacks and public spaces over two floors of the building. This is your chance to see the Library like you’ve never seen it before. Drop by and join us for a “hole” lot of fun. Please note, the Library will be open for business as usual during course hours.”

At the end of their golfing session, patrons also may register for summer reading and automatically be entered in a raffle to win one of five $10 gift cards provided by Dunkin Donuts.

There will be Summer Reading Programs this year for all ages, including children, teenagers, and adults. Prizes for reading and participating in a variety of library activities will be awarded for all ages. If you would like to receive the library’s e-newsletter for more news and information about summer reading programming and events, email lfox@sailsinc.org, or call 508-946-2470, or visit the library’s website (www.midlib.org).
