The New Bedford artmobile is celebrating its 25th year in 2020.

“Operating much like a bookmobile, the two purple vans, each with two experienced art educators, engage children with fun educational art activities at community sites across New Bedford for seven weeks each July and August.”

Free art activities will be available for kids in the Greater New Bedford area thanks to the New Bedford Art Museum.

Mondays at Riverside Park from 11 to 11:45 am
Mondays at Carney Elementary School from 12:30 to 1:15 pm
Wednesdays at Ashley Park 11 to 11:45 am
Wednesdays at Hayden-McFadden Elementary from 2 to 2:45 pm
Thursdays at Eddie James Park from 10 am to 12 pm
Thursdays at Harrington Park from 1 to 3 pm
Fridays at Roosevelt Middle School from 12:30 to 1:15 pm
Fridays at Gomes Elementary School from 2 to 2:45 pm

Mondays at Keith Middle School from 11 to 11:45 am
Mondays at Lincoln Elementary from 12:30 to 1:15 pm
Tuesdays at Clasky Common Park from 10 am to 12 pm
Tuesdays at Fort Tabor from 1 to 3 pm
Wednesdays at Ruth Street Common from 10 am to 12 pm
Wednesdays at Campbell Elementary School from 2 to 2:45 pm
Thursdays at Hazelwood Park from 10 am to 12 pm
