Michelle Carter Verdict Coming Friday

The judge has reached a verdict in the trial of a Michelle Carter.

Carter is the Massachusetts woman charged with manslaughter for sending her boyfriend dozens of text messages encouraging him to kill himself.

A court clerk said Judge Lawrence Moniz will announce his verdict Friday when court is back in session at 11 am.

Carter is charged in the suicide of her 18-year-old boyfriend, Conrad Roy III, in 2014. Roy took his life through carbon monoxide poisoning in his pickup in a Fairhaven parking lot.
