McDonald's is planning on spending up to three-billion dollars next year building new restaurants and remodeling of existing locations. 

The world's largest hamburger chain will open between 15-hundred and 16-hundred new stores in 2014, and upgrade and improve another one-thousand. 

McDonald's is forecasting overall same-restaurant sales growth for next year of three to five percent.  (Metro Networks Inc.)
