Massachusetts elections officials are stepping up efforts to register voters for the Nov. 6th election. Secretary of State William Galvin's office planned to set up voter registration booths at several locations around the state this week. The registration deadline is Oct. 17. Galvin says  there may be hundreds of thousands of eligible voters in Massachusetts who haven't cast a ballot since the last presidential election in 2008. Some of those people may have since moved to new communities without re-registering to vote.Others may have been suspended from voting rolls because they did not return census forms from their cities or towns. Voter registration forms can also be printed from the secretary of the state's web site. They must be returned to city or town clerks by Oct. 17th.
