Massachusetts elections officials are stepping up efforts to register voters for the Nov. 6th election.

Friday is the deadline to register to vote in the state primary election on September 6.  Secretary of State William Galvin says U-S citizens who live in Massachusetts , and are 18 years old can sign up.  Sec. Galvin says voters should not dismiss the importance of primary elections.
