Man Med Flighted After Falling Off Roof

One man was Med Flighted to Rhode Island Hospital on Tuesday after falling off a roof in Dartmouth.

Dartmouth Police say that at around 12:30 p.m. members of the Dartmouth Police Department, STAT Ambulance Service and Dartmouth Fire Department District 1 were dispatched to Hidden Bay where a construction worker had fallen off a roof.

The 43-year-old man fell roughly eight to ten feet landing on a deck below.

A Med Flight was requested due to the extent of the man's injuries and he was transported to Rhode Island Hospital from the DeMello Elementary School.

The man's name and current medical condition hasn't been released.
