Man Convicted Of Killing Seekonk Official Receives Sentence
A three year jail sentence was handed down Wednesday for an Attleboro man who struck and killed a Seekonk town official last year.
ABC6 is reporting that 24-year-old Jacob Lacourse was sentenced in Fall River Superior Court after his decision last month to change his plea to guilty.
Lacourse was driving the car that hit and killed Seekonk Assistant Town Clerk Karen McHugh back in January of 2015.
He fled the scene but was arrested last July.
