A man was arrested early Wednesday morning near country music singer Taylor Swift's mansion in the Watch Hill area of Westerly.

Police say the 22-year-old Chicago man was found at 2:15 a.m. walking on a private road near the house.  He was charged with trespassing and ordered to appear in District Court in South Kingstown later this month.

The man admitted that he had swam up to the Rhode Island home to try and meet the music superstar, but when he saw her large team of security he turned back around. According to WCVB, it's unclear if Swift was even home at the time.
