Making Spirits Bright

I've always believed if you don't have Christmas in your heart, you'll never find it under a tree, but what about on the Christmas tree? As 2016 has turned out to be a very trying and sad year for our law enforcement community nationwide, Detective Kyle J. Costa of the Dartmouth Police Department is asking us to do something very meaningful. DPD is requesting each and every one of us to hang a "single blue ornament" on our Christmas tree this year.

This gesture will do two things: it will honor all of our brave men and women who lost their lives so we can live ours. It will also remind the families of law enforcement that we love and support them and that they are not alone during this Christmas Season.
