Dartmouth Police Officers’ Steamy PSA Turns Off Potential Package Thieves
The Dartmouth Police Department boasts the best social media on the SouthCoast.
If you're one of the 10,000 people who missed the department's latest PSA, you're in for a treat. This is their finest work yet, and the maestro behind the scenes is Det. Kyle Costa.
What better way to take on porch pirates than with a bold message to would-be thieves?
The video was filmed by Dartmouth Community Media and features officers Lisa DaCosta and Justin Medeiros. Costa wrote, directed and produced the PSA, which received almost 400 likes/reactions and was shared more than 100 times on Facebook.
Although the video is geared toward the holidays, people steal packages every day. Consider this a friendly and entertaining reminder to keep an eye on your packages and remind family and friends to do the same.
Unfortunately, this is Costa's final work of art as he's leaving but it's a beautiful masterpiece to inspire the police force's next social media guru. Costa has been the primary force behind Dartmouth's Facebook page for years, capturing the attention of thousands of admirers across the SouthCoast and beyond.
