Lane Restrictions Lifted On Sagamore Bridge

Work on the Sagamore Bridge is being suspended for the Christmas holiday.

Army Corps of Engineers spokesman Timothy Dugan says all lanes on the bridge will be open Wednesday through Sunday.

Work will resume on Monday and intermittent lane restrictions will be in place from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

The work is being done as part of a Sagamore Bridge Painting Project in Bourne and Dugan says the work is expected to finish in February.
