Lakeville Crash Injures One

Crews Wednesday night responded to the intersection of Rt. 79 and Rt. 18 in Lakeville for reports of a motor vehicle crash.

Two passenger vehicles collided at the crossroads  just after 6 p.m., according to the Lakeville Fire Department. A man was transported to the hospital with injuries that did not appear to be serious, and a female minor was evaluated at the scene but found to be unhurt. Both vehicles were heavily damaged.

From the Fire Department, Car 1, Engine 1, Ambulance 1, and Ambulance 2 responded to the scene. The crash remains under investigation and no citations have been issued at this time, according to the Lakeville Police Department.
