Bring some friends and pack your folding chair or a blanket for a free evening of musical entertainment on Tuesday, July 26 from 6pm to 8 pm at Center Stage in Lakeville to listen to Butch McCarthy and the Accidental Band.

They will be offering a blend of pop music and Americana in the folk-rock tradition. This event is sponsored in part by LakeCAM.tv, the Alliance for Community Media-Northeast, and the Lakeville Arts Council.

According to South Coast Today.com, the group was formed several years ago in the New Bedford area, The Accidental Band has gone through many changes through time and the recent addition of Bob Calderara on mandolin and vocals solidified the group. The balance of the band includes Butch McCarthy on guitar and vocals, Steve Mazza on bass, and JB Borges plays the drums. Their recent albums are Middleville released in 2015 and No More, which was released on April 15 of 2016.

Somethin’s Brewin’ Café will also be open for concert goers to grab something to eat and drink before and during the concert.

In the event of inclement weather, the concert will move into the Library’s meeting room.
