Jury Deliberating Tsarnaev’s Fate
The jury in the Boston Marathon bombing trial is done for the day after deliberating for about 50 minutes. The jury got the case Wednesday afternoon after final instructions from a federal judge.
The panel weighing the fate of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev must decide whether to sentence him to death or life in prison for the 2013 attack that killed three people and injured more than 260 others.
Prosecutors said that killing innocents was the "whole point" of Tsarnaev's attack, which killed three people two years ago. The defense argued Tsarnaev should be spared the death penalty because his older brother was the mastermind of the plan.
