Jobless Claims Rise To 339-Thousand

First time jobless claims are down slightly. The Labor Department's report shows 336-thousand first-time unemployment claims were filed last week. That's three-thousand less than the previous week. Economists had predicted the number of first time claims would come in at 335-thousand.
