Remember the iconic Lotus Esprit all white submarine car used in the James Bond 1977 film, "The Spy Who Loved Me?" First of all, it's not a car at all. It has no wheels! It's a submarine shaped like a car.

Well, it was sold for close to a million dollars at a London auction, but that's to be expected. Here's the extraordinary part of this story. The film's promoters placed the vehicle into a storage locker on Long Island, paying a ten year lease in advance. But, believe it or not, the sub was forgotten about and when the time came, the locker's owner couldn't be located, so it was put up for sale in a blind auction. No one knew what was inside the locker.

A local couple paid less than $100 and went inside the locker to find this amazing Lotus! I'll drink to that! "Martini, shaken, not stirred."
